A bit of our...
History
Albert and Carles met more than 30 years ago; in fact, Carles was Albert’s student in his early days of dancing. Later, each one pursued their careers separately, with Albert in Manresa and Carles in Castelldefels, where both achieved success both professionally and personally.”
In 2007, Albert was serving as the Sports Vice President of FEBD and ‘recruited’ Carles for the development of the restricted Basic Syllabusof FEBD.”
Their connection was so strong that from that moment on, their careers have almost run in parallel. From 2007 to 2014, Carles led the educational department of the FEBD, where Albert later joined after completing his responsibilities as Sports Vice President, alongside Cels García.
In October 2014, after concluding their service to FEBD, Carles, Cels, and Albert consider several options to provide working materials that facilitate the learning and work of dancesport coaches.
Cels’s passing and Carles’s relocation lead to the project losing momentum and almost being forgotten.
Resuming the project
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and observing the unfolding events, Carles begins to pursue a series of studies that reopen the idea of the project and how to present it.
During one of the ‘pauses’ between waves that occurred during the pandemic, Carles traveled to Barcelona and introduced the project to Albert and Joana Subirana, who welcomed it with very positive feedback and saw it as an opportunity to address the needs of the dancesport community.”
The project was introduced to Marc and Valeria, as well as to Diego and Katia, with the idea of having top-tier international couples to bring an extra level of quality to the product. They all saw it as a positive opportunity to provide an essential service to the dancesport community
Taking advantage of the mandatory lockdowns during the pandemic, Carles focused on the project and on offering a product of the highest quality, with the unwavering collaboration of the exceptional work team.
